I think everyone has experienced putting off something indefinitely at least once. Sometimes you get ideas buzzing in your head but haven’t got the time, willpower or energy to do something about it. I’ve been experiencing this dreaded thing called procrastination for the last few weeks. Putting words down in my novel has been a chore. It seems strange that an idea which I couldn’t wait to write down in the beginning has become so tiresome. I wondered where all the excitement and hope as I embarked on this project has gone. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Like all things in life the feeling will pass and then you look down at your manuscript with renewed sense of vigour to finish it once and for all. It’s only then that we can say goodbye to procrastination and welcome in productivity.
